Choose the best Air Purification System for your Health
The purification systems come in different varieties based on their functionality to purify the air and which will be very confusing to the normal user. Some of those are ionizers, HEPA filters, ozoneators and biozines. All these systems perform purification of air in a very unique way and it is to be selected carefully according to the user need.
The furnace and air conditioners also removes the dust particles and circulates dust free air inside the house. But the reason why the purification system is necessary is because they are capable of removing only larger particles and not capable of removing particles which are of invisible size. Hence only having the purification system installed in our houses we can prevent diseases like asthma and some other infections which are very familiar house hold disease.

Ion generators generate the ions which are electrically charged and these ions held up with the dust particles available in the atmosphere of the house. The combination of such kind makes the dust particles heavy such that it does not float in the air any more. Then these particles fell down to the floor and become static electric particles. When I installed ion generators my house got lot dust particles spread over on all the furniture. It is the only reason we replaced that system with the HEPA filters.
HEPA filters acquire the dust and the impurities in the air. So it also sucks the dropped particles because of the attachments of the charged ion particles. This type of purifier does not remove the odour that spreads in the air.
Ozone generators produce a gas called ozone which is capable of purifying the air by removing the odours. The ozone gas has the properties such as bactericide, viricide, fungicide and deodorizer which are well accepted among the scientific communities that are around the world. But usage of such system in a high level may cause side effects of irritation in the respiratory systems. There is no evidence that at which level usage of ozone causes such effects on humans, but the agencies like FDA has a set of safe levels at .05 ppm (parts per million). And the agency OSHA has set this safe level to 0.1 ppm as a maximum for 8 hour exposures. Most of the ozone generators run at the safer level as mentioned by the agencies.
